While Boston missed the crazy ice storm that caused major chaos just north of here, we're definitely not going to miss the storm heading this way. The forecast is 10-12 inches of snow tonight. It's JUST started coming down here.
Since Mike's able to work from home, I got to take the new car today. I'm going to get to seriously test out it's all wheel drive capabilities. Woohoo! I'm sure it will be much easier to drive in the snow than my little rear wheel drive sports car.
Mike tried to get the snow blower ready last night, but couldn't get it to start. He dropped it off for repairs this morning but we're not getting it back until Jan. 5th! Yikes! So, he and I will be taking several shifts shoveling away tonight, getting plenty of great winter exercise. When we're not shoveling, we will be sipping hot chocolate in front of a toasty fire. Yay for winter!
