Wrangling the Herd

Before I blog about our trip to Dallas, I had to share the full timeline of pictures of trying to get the cousins couch picture. I laughed watching the tale unfold (on camera....in person trying to get Cade to cooperate was not nearly as funny until after the fact). Let's just premise it by saying, 1) it's impossible to get that many young kids cooperating at once 2) especially kids that are beyond exhausted from traveling and lack of sleep and 3) on a couch that's just not big enough for all of them. Put those 3 together and here's what you get:

I held Cade, tried to keep him happy then plopped him on the back of the couch - instant crying.

Tried again. Still crying but at least looks less so.

Now Cade's crying and not looking. Bryson still doesn't seem to be impressed by this situation

Another pretty good one.

I popped up to try and get Cade to actually sit with the gang for another try.

Yep, that didn't go so well.

There you have it folks. In pictures, that's about 1-2 minutes of trying to wrangle these kids to all look happy and in the same direction for 1 picture. At least we got 1 or 2 candidates that Mimaw and Pipaw can frame on their wall.
