A Day For Moi?

This is SOOO yesterday's news, I know, but we got some cute pics of the day I really wanted to share. Way back in May, I celebrated my 2nd Mother's Day. With it being Sunday, it was also Mike's soccer day. So, most of the morning, Dylan and I just spent hanging out at the house together doing the usual, reading books and playing with toys. After nap time is when Mike finally got home (an hour and a half later than he told me he would because of a head wound on the field) and then we packed up and headed to the Arnold Arboretum.

The arboretum traditionally has a Lilac Festival on Mother's Day and the weather was supposed to be great and I wanted to attend. Unfortunately, due to Mike's tardiness, we missed the actual festival (yeah, he didn't rack up brownie points that morning). It's a good thing the weather was still nice and the flowers were still in bloom because we managed to have a fun time walking around the park and taking in the beauty.
